The platform

More than a booking calendar.

A calendar knows when. A flight school also needs to know which aircraft has hours left before its inspection, which exercises a student still needs, and whether last Tuesday’s lesson was signed. WingRoster keeps all of it in one connected system, from the first lesson to the flight test.

01Intelligent flight scheduling

A schedule that understands flight training.

An ordinary calendar will happily book a student into a lesson they aren’t ready for, in an aircraft that’s due for its 100-hour, with an instructor who’s already flying. WingRoster’s schedule knows about all three.

02Digital flight sheets

The daily flight sheet, without the clipboard.

The DFS is where a flight school’s day gets recorded. In WingRoster it lives on a desk screen at the school. People sign aircraft out and back in with their own PIN, and every closed sheet flows straight into the aircraft’s hours and the student’s training record.

03Digital Pilot Training Records

The PTR, finally digital.

The PTR is the record of a student’s training. WingRoster keeps it the way Canadian instructors already work: Flight Training Manual exercises graded F, P, D, S or R, running totals of dual and solo time, and signatures from instructor and student.

Every lesson linked to the flight it came from
Exercise grades and instructor comments, lesson by lesson
Running totals that add themselves up
Instructor and student signatures, and a CFI review step
What's been covered and what's still to come, at a glance
PTR pages print when a paper copy is needed

WingRoster is independent software. It isn’t certified or approved by Transport Canada, and each school remains responsible for its own training-record requirements.

04Aircraft and maintenance

It knows the aircraft, not just the calendar.

WingRoster keeps each aircraft’s total time, when its next inspection is due and how many hours are left, updated as flight sheets close. Aircraft in maintenance come off the schedule, and bookings that would fly past a service limit are flagged before the schedule goes out.

Total time kept current from closed flight sheets
Next service due and hours remaining for every aircraft
Maintenance blocks and out-of-service status on the schedule
Flight history for each aircraft

WingRoster helps you plan around maintenance. It doesn’t replace the journey log, technical records or your maintenance organization’s records.

05Student portal

Their training, in their pocket.

Students see their next flight, set their availability for the week, follow their progress through the syllabus and find the school’s study material. It works on any phone and adds to the home screen like an app.

07Instructor workspace

Less paperwork. More teaching.

Instructors see their day, their students and what's waiting for their signature. Times from the flight sheet are already in the lesson record, so the paperwork after a flight takes minutes, not an evening.

Work-week availability that feeds the schedule
Grade and sign lesson records from the flight sheet
First-solo checklists and action requests in one inbox

08Flight school administration

The whole operation, one view.

For the CFI and the office: today's flying, aircraft status, people and programmes in one place. Disconnected spreadsheets and paper processes become one coordinated operation.

Today's flying, aircraft status and requests on one screen

How WingRoster works

Plan. Fly. Record. Progress.

Every lesson goes around the same loop. WingRoster connects each step to the next, so nothing is typed twice.

1PlanStudents and instructors set their availability. The school matches aircraft, instructors and lessons, and the schedule flags anything that doesn't fit.
2FlyAt the desk screen the crew signs the aircraft out with their PINs. Everyone can see what's flying, and with whom.
3RecordThe closed flight sheet updates the aircraft's hours and becomes the lesson record. The instructor grades the exercises and signs.
4ProgressStudents and instructors see what's done and what's next. The next lesson is ready to book.

Who it’s for

A platform for everyone in flight training.

Run a more connected flight training operation.

See the whole day at once: who's flying, which aircraft are ready, which records need signing and which qualifications are about to expire.

Better use of aircraft and instructor time
Records, hours and people in one system
Less chasing paper, signatures and spreadsheets
Your own programmes and syllabus, your way

Our story

Built in the cockpit. Designed for the flight school.

WingRoster was started by a working Canadian flight instructor: someone who briefs students, flies lessons, fills in training records and rebuilds the schedule when weather, an aircraft or a sick day changes the plan.

Each of those jobs lived somewhere different: a booking calendar, a paper flight sheet at the desk, a binder of training records, a spreadsheet of aircraft hours. Keeping them in step was a job of its own.

WingRoster brings them together, shaped around how a flight school’s day actually runs. It’s built and refined at a working flight school, with the instructors and students who use it every day.

Less administration. More aviation.

Made in Canada

Canadian flight training, in its own words.

WingRoster grew up inside Canadian flight training, and it uses the language instructors already use. Nothing about it limits it to Canadian schools.

Familiar terms

Pilot Training Records, daily flight sheets, Flight Training Manual exercises, F/P/D/S/R grades, PPL and CPL booklets. The words on the screen match the words in the briefing room.

Your school's syllabus

Build your own programmes and lessons, including time-building lessons with an hour target, and move students between versions as the syllabus changes.

Clear about its role

WingRoster isn't certified or approved by Transport Canada. It doesn't replace journey logs, technical records or a school's own obligations. It helps keep them organized.

Designed to grow

Building a connected training ecosystem.

Here’s exactly where WingRoster stands: what works today, what’s being built, and the ideas further out.
